Job Description:

Responsible for applying geographic information in response to intelligence needs using collected data. This includes the application of temporal and spatial thinking in interpreting data in geographic context. Interpretation requires skills, knowledge, and abilities drawn from multiple disciplines to undertake spatial data manipulation, data analysis, statistical analysis and modeling. Maintain or support maintenance of reference knowledge databases and dissemination of intelligence. 

The Level 4 SIGINT Geospatial Analyst shall possess the following capabilities:

• Possesses a fundamental knowledge of geospatial SIGINT data, analytical methods, and visualization, in addition to technical knowledge of specific technologies. 

• Experience with various systems and tools that facilitate spatial analysis. 

• Knowledge of agency specific tools and methodologies.     

• Strong critical thinking and collaboration skills. 

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in an area directly related to an NSA mission (e.g. collection, cyber and intelligence analysis) and/or a similar mission in the IC or DoD, in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems. 

• High school diploma or GED plus 15 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 7 years experience. 

• Degree in geospatial information systems, geography, or a related field is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable. 

Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
