iNovex is looking for a Top Secret/SCI (with Polygraph) cleared and driven Deputy Program Manager for one of our largest software development contracts, who will oversee staffing, requirements gathering, deliverable management, and day-to-day coordination.
As the Deputy Program Manager, you will be responsible for budgeting, schedule, and performance for the contract.
Experience. You have been there before and have managed large software development contracts with ease. You have:
5+ years of program or project management experience.
1+ year of experience with requirements analysis, resources allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
PMP certified OR FAC-P/PM entry level certified OR Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 1 certified in Program Management.
You will screen technical candidates such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, and System Engineers.
Make staffing recommendations for the overall team.
Report on technical progress.
Surface issues or problem areas.
Track, review, and compile deliverables such as monthly status reports and financials.
Gather requirements from both technical leads and customers.
Keep a pulse on the team’s needs as they meet customer requirements.
Industry Knowledge. You are up to date on current regulations and policies in government contracting— Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 801 policies.
