iNovex is looking for a Top Secret/SCI (with Polygraph) cleared and driven Deputy Program Manager for one of our largest software development contracts, who will oversee staffing, requirements gathering, deliverable management, and day-to-day coordination.
As the Deputy Program Manager, you will be responsible for budgeting, schedule, and performance for the contract. You are able to motivate and inspire a room and get everyone rallied to work towards a common goal. You are an active listener and take the team’s perspectives into consideration. You tell it how it is in a professional way while still understanding you are talking to humans.
Experience. You have been there before and have managed large software development contracts with ease. You have:
5+ years of program or project management experience.
1+ year of experience with requirements analysis, resources allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
PMP certified OR FAC-P/PM entry-level certified OR Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 1 certified in Program Management.
Experience conducting technical interviews and staffing contracts
Experience preparing deliverables
Industry Knowledge. You are up to date on current regulations and policies in government contracting— Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 801 policies.
