iNovex is looking for a Top Secret/SCI (with Polygraph) cleared mid-level Configuration Manager for a new large contract with a focus on the development of Analytics, Knowledge Management artifacts, Information Sharing tools, Data Transformation, and Malware Analysis.
As the Configuration Manager, you are responsible for the consistency of performance, design, and operational life of a system or product. If you get giddy just thinking about all the automation that can build in checks and reduce omissions, we can’t wait to chat with you!
Experience + Education: You enjoy all things configuration management! You have:
6+ years’ experience as a Configuration Manager for technical contracts.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline OR 4 additional years of configuration management experience.
Implement configuration management from initial requirements and capabilities baselines through to end-of-life.
Support and maintain the configuration management environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration.
Create product build scripts and procedures and integrate those with the hardware and software build process.
Develop hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures and ensure they are followed.
Serve as an advisor to the Government Control Change Board (CCB)
Technical Experience: You’ve got the basics down and are always learning!
Understand and apply basic concepts for documenting hardware and software configuration.
Understand and apply concepts for maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration.
Strategic Mindset: You can look at the whole picture from start to finish and identify touchpoints for configuration management. You can see the whole picture at the 10,000-foot view and the entirety of a lifecycle.
Detail Oriented: While you can take a strategic look at what’s involved you also pay attention to the details—all the little parts and pieces that are included. Your processes and procedures are detailed and organized.
Adaptability: You are flexible and can adapt quickly to changing requirements as they are thrown at you and your team.
